“Moving into a home is a life-changing and special process and for many people it can also be very emotional so it is important not to think of the process as just selling or leasing a home and rather as helping someone achieve their dream,” she says.
While it’s this personal side of her work that’s most rewarding, Monique is continually motivated by the variety her role presents, which frequently involves putting her problem-solving skills to good use.

Monique’s detailed knowledge of the rights of tenants and landlords also helps protect both parties against unnecessary stress.
When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her partner Kris, daughter Aria, son Carter and dog Boston. Hiking and exploring outdoors together is a priority, as is carving out enough time for her other passion – event planning.
Between creating beautiful balloon garlands and grazing boards for birthdays, baby showers and other occasions, Monique can also be found behind her camera lens capturing many of these special moments.
